Suggested fabrics are light to mid weight fabrics such as cotton poplin, denim, wool, faux leather, cotton twill.

Materials Needed

• Fusible interfacing
• Thread
• 4" wide waistband elastic: 1-2 yds
• 2" wide waistband elastic:
  • Length 1 yd. Measure the waist and add 3 cm (includes seam allowance to overlap)
• Option: If you cannot find an elastic tape in the recommended width, you may use any width you prefer. Make sure to adjust the width of the fabric waistband using the following formula: Elastic tape width × 2 + 2.5 cm
